Process

To make this I hand sculpted a fabulous face. I then made a mould of the face sculpture. I used resin to fill the mould and create a cast. I sanded the back of the cast to remove excess. I drilled holes into the top of the head to then glue the metal loop in with strong two part epoxy resin. I covered the face with three layers of primer. Then I meticulously hand painted the face, applying multiple layers of paint to ensure a bold colour. Finally, I applied two layers of clear shiny resin over the top to seal the paint and encourage longevity.

The face will come with the necklace seen in the image which is cord, 44cm with 5cm extra chain. However you can remove the head by opening the small metal ring and add it to a chain or necklace of your choice. The face will come with more rings in different sizes for this reason.

I have used a sturdy material and layers of resin to protect the face however it is a hand painted piece of art so please care for and protect them the best you can!
