This is a limited cast of an original sculpture.

To make this I hand sculpted a beautiful butterfly. I then made a mould of the butterfly sculpture. I used resin to fill the mould and create a cast. I sanded the back of the cast to remove excess. I covered the butterfly with three layers of primer. Then I meticulously hand painted the butterfly, applying three layers of paint to ensure a bold colour. Finally, I applied two layers of clear shiny resin over the top to seal the paint and encourage longevity.

The butterfly will come with the necklace seen in the image which is a cord or silk 19” slightly adjustable. However you can remove the butterfly by opening the small metal ring and add it to a chain or necklace of your choice. The butterfly will come with more rings in different sizes for this reason.

I have used a sturdy material and layers of resin to protect the butterfly however it is a hand painted piece of art so please care for and protect them the best you can!
